I have made the image a bigger but kept it in the centre

Contents Pages

The features of a contents page consist of the promotions, a long shot image, and a colour scheme of black, white and yellow which i feel works well. The image is very dominant and also the clothing worn doesn't match the colour scheme of the contents page which makes the imagery stand out. The contents page consists of 3 images advertising the stories within the magazine rather than there just being writing which makes it look more appealing to an audience.

This contents page has a colour scheme of blacks, greys and which and the imagery used has these same colours through the clothing. The image is also very dominant and is also a long shot which takes up majority of the contents page. As the image is very dominant the editor hasn't used any other images to represent the stories within the magazine. The word 'contents' has been 'cut up' to take up more of the space on this page, which makes it appealing to it's audience.

Construction with Photoshop

For the background i simply opened Photoshop, then clicked open and chose my image which was then my imagery within my Music Magazine i then did these steps to produce my Music Magazine front cover.


I then Added my masthead, selecting the fonts and colours i wanted to use.



Once i had chose my masthead i then added the skyline and chose the font.



Once i had done this i had to then chose the colours of my texts.

Here are the pictures i can use for my Music Mag, as i have taken a few i now have the choice of which ones to use, i am very pleased with the outcome of my images, as i have used a light i have chosen to put a shadow on one half of my model as it gives more effect throughout the images.
